  The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) has launched a new project with the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology of Nepal in order to improve Nepalese meteorological expertise and preparedness for natural disasters, said a recent government press release.   The three-year project, FNEP2, is an Institutional Cooperation Instrument funded by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
