A court on Friday accused an employee of Porvoo Healthcare Centre of collecting secret data about the fellow workers of the hospital and ordered to realise EUR 540 from her as fine on charges of breaching official secrecy. The East-Uusimaa district court  in the verdict of the case also asked the convict to pay EUR 1800 compensation to the victims. The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) is upgrading its high-performance computing environment for weather forecasting and scientific computing, said a press release of the institute.  CSC - IT Center for Science Ltd. will be responsible for working together with the FMI in the design and acquisition of the new supercomputer solution.  The new supercomputer will ensure the continued production of the FMI's operative weather predictions and will support the institute's research work.
