Building expenses  has been increased in Finland in December 2012 by 1.8 percent than the cost of the previous year, said a report of the Statistics Finland released here on Friday.

According to the report,  the prices of labour inputs in construction works has been increased by 1.2 percent  while the prices of materials  hiked by 1.9 percent  in the last year December compared to the expenses of the year 2011.

The cost of other inputs increased by  3.3 percent during the stipulated period that the previous year, showed the statistics in its Building Cost Index.

The report, however, said that the total index of building costs remained unchanged from November to December when the  prices of labour inputs and materials costs were also at the same level. The Prices of other inputs increased by 0.3 percent from November.
