The total turnover in service industries grew by 3.3 percent in September to November 2012 compared to the turnover of the corresponding time period of the previous year, according to the Statistics Finland.
Although the overall turnover has been increased, the turnover in arts, entertainment and recreation sectors declined significantly.
One year before the turnover in service industries grew by 6.4 percent but the turnover grew slowly in the last year, said a press release issued on Thursday.
The growth from one year ago in accommodation and food service activities amounted to 3.6 percent and to 3.5 per cent in administrative and support service activities.
Weakest turnover development was seen in arts, entertainment and recreation, where the turnover decreased by nearly two percent from one year ago.
