FTimes-STT Report, February 28

The police on Wednesday issued warning regarding the frauds who were cheating people and taking money through online in the name of tractor sale.

Police said that numbers of fraudulent cases already have been reported to the police in recent months.

The fake traders reportedly earned about EUR 180,000  from the clients in the name of selling 50 used tractors. They used the web address of tori.fi and nettikone.fi for the fake business.

The fake traders made the purchase offers in online with photos and in some cases a certain amount of advance money was asked.

But after paying the advance money, the buyers have never been received the item.

They buyers also failed to reach to the sellers as  their prepaid cell phones are no more available after the deal was made.

Police however said that a group of unscrupulous people might have been involved in typical trading in Tampere region.
