The report released on Monday said that the producer prices for manufactured products sold on the domestic market rose by 0.9 percent, while the producer prices of export products went down by 1.0 per cent. The price index of both export and import price fell by 0.9 percent this year compared to the previous year. The Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply went up by 1.1 per cent while the year-on-year change in the Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply, Including Taxes was 1.9 per cent. The rise in the producer prices for manufactured products was particularly caused by higher prices of food, district heat and machines and equipment this year than the price of February last year. The rise was curbed by falls in the prices of metals, electricity and electronic appliances, in particular. From January to February, producer prices for manufactured goods went up by 0.6 per cent. The rise was mainly caused by increases in the prices of oil products and district heat, said the report.
