Apulaistoimisto Association leader, Reijo Vuorento on Wednesday predicted that the government decision for spending limits decision might be heavier on the local economy than the expectation.

 Reijo said that the government proposed to waive the corporate tax in the budget planning and increased the municipality tax that might put a serious impact on the overall economy.

He said the government will lose about Euro 400 million due to waive the corporate tax, which would also affect the municipality badly.

The loss may lead the municipality to compensate just half of their program as the government also cut expenditure of the municipal corporations.

However ,  the hike of 1.2 percent municipality tax somehow would make a level playing game in this context , which is estimated 180 million for the next year.

He said that budget also threw the local government into a challenge for creating job in their own jurisdiction.
