Money transfer through Nordea Bank was delayed partially on Tuesday due to a glitch in the bank’s payment system.
The glitch resulted in a delay in getting payments by some of the clients, although the authorities had corrected the problem by Tuesday noon.
The glitch might have been appeared on Monday night, bank sources said.
The glitch also delayed up some of the transactions where the money was sent to other banks.
The Nordea Bank authorities said the overdue payments were transferred to the recipients’ accounts at the noon.
The authorities, however, failed to say how many customers had suffered the inconvenience caused by the glitch.
