Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is scheduled to travel to China this week, news agency STT reported quoting AFP.
He is trying to get Chinese companies to increase investment and boost exports from Greece to China.
Samaras delegation has a number of ministers and about 60 business leaders. The visit is expected to turn for relations with the countries and, above all, trade.
China is reported to be considering new investments in Greek ports and airports. Chinese shipping giant Cosco began to increase its share in the port of Piraeus in 2008. Traffic is forecast to triple the number of the port in three years.
Samaras will visit, among other things, Beijing and Shanghai from Wednesday to Sunday.
