India's tax authority requires Nokia 21 billion rupees (280 million euros) taxes, which authorities believe that remain unpaid after 2006.
The authorities raided the Nokia’s plant in Chennai in the first half while searching for evidence of tax evasion.
Nokia denies the requirements and consider the decision to complain about. The company believes that it is in full compliance with the laws of India, as well as between Finland and India tax treaty.
