During the third quarter of 2013, year-on-year rise in rents was 3.5%, according to Statistics Finland’s data.

The rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up by an average of 3.7% in the country, said a press release of the institute on Friday.

In the Greater Helsinki Area, the rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up by 4.1% and in the rest of Finland by 3.5%.
