A total of 427 counterfeit euro bank notes were discovered in the country last year, according to the Bank of Finland.
 
The number of forged notes in 2013 was low compared to the previous year when a total of 620 counterfeit notes were recovered.
 
Most of the discovered notes were of 50 and 20 denomination.
 
According to the European Central Bank, a total of 670,000 counterfeit euro banknotes were discovered in the EURO zone in 2013 compared to 531,000 in 2012.
