The Finnish retailing cooperative S-Group admitted that a technical error in its system last week forced thousands of customers to pay double for various purchases.
The technical glitch affected 39,000 thousands of purchases on Thursday last week.
The purchases amounting to 1.4 million euros were made by S-Etukortti cards, Diners Cards and American Express credit cards.
Juha Ahola,the financial manager of the nationwide cooperative (SOK) said that refund to customers account had been made on Wednesday while some will be made on Thursday.
