British retailers Marks & Spencer has agreed to make a comeback in the Finnish market.

The deal to resume business in Finland will see the clothing chain store cooperate with the S-Group.

Marks & Spencer is looking to open seven stores in seven different locations in the country, the first of which will be opened in the Sokos department store in Helsinki in early October.

In addition, the retailers plan to open an online store in collaboration with the S-Group.

Marks & Spencer said the cooperation with S-Group was associated with the company’s aim to expand overseas.

S-Group said the cooperation was aimed at strengthening its diversity in retailing.

Marks & Spencer has more 790 stores in the UK and 450 stores spread across Europe, Middle East and Asia.

The chain was founded back in 1884.
