Finnish exports to Russia has declined significantly over the past six months, according to a survey report published by the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce.

Nearly one in three companies that took part in the survey reported that export to Russia has dropped.

The main reasons cited has been the weakening of the Russian currency ruble and the uncertainty caused by the crisis in Ukraine.

The most hit has been the trade sector. On the other hand, the service sector has emerged well in the difficult situation.

About 300 member companies of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce responded to the survey.
