About a hundred exhibitors put building materials, doors, windows, roofs, interior items and other renovation accessories up for display at the Seventh Lapland Construction Exhibition that took place at Lappi Areena in Rovaniemi in April 26-27.
Lapland's largest construction expo that the Northern Finnish Fair Association, along with Lapland HVAC Association of Rovaniemi Disc Association, organised drew about 4,500 visitors.
People of Lapland think that the exhibition offers the best chance to know of construction innovations, with professionals making video presentations on construction and interior design for visitors.

"The exhibition is good for both customers and service providers. They can exchange their plans and poistions here before making contracts," Mika Jääski, a field operator of the Northern Finnish Fair Association, told Finland Times.
The high spot of this year’s exhibition was the property benefits showcased by agencies such as Kiinteistöliitto Lappy ry (Lapland Housing Federation) and Lapin Liitto (Regional Council of Lapland).

Taru Palokangas, executive director of Lapland Housing Federation, told Finland Times, “This is an ideal place to share our thoughts and services with Lapland residents as we are as much an association of property owners and landlords as that of housing companies.”
She said, “We provide our members with advice on legal, technical, fiscal and economic matters. The most important activities are legal counselling by phone and in written statements. Through the fair, we actually encourage people to have the benefits.”
Kaisa Hytönen, broadband coordinator of the Regional Council of Lapland said, “Some essential connections are required for building construction at all times. A super-fast internet connection is one of them. However, for lack of information and knowledge, a lot of people can’t get the benefits of optic fiber connection available in many areas. Our aim is to provide information for people and construction companies.”
