Estonian taxi companies are keen to enter the country’s taxi market, according to a report of the Turku Sanomat, a Finnish-language newspaper.
Estonians companies are interested as long as the competition and consumer agency proposal for liberalisation of the taxi industry is accepted.
Mati Saar, the head of Tulika Takso said Helsinki seems appealing because of its importance as a hub for the Estonian domestic market.
Saar also believes that prices will fall when the market becomes open.
Another company, Tallink Takso, according to the report, has informed that it is ready to venture into the Finnish market.
