The talks are geared towards terminating 130 employees if the plans are realised. The negotiations will touch on all its 530 employees in the consumer goods trade and grocery stores.
S-Group's Executive Vice President Arttu Laine explained that its consumer goods trade has been incurring loss for sometime forming the basis for initiating the talks. "We want to clarify the areas of responsibility and dismantle redundancies within SOK," said Laine in a statement.
The negotiations will begin on June 12 and is expected to conclude in the end of August.
S-Group laid off 180 employees last autumn after the end of collective bargaining negotiations.
