The turnover of large enterprises grew by 2.3 per cent in June 2014 compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, according to Statistics Finland's preliminary data.
But in the April to June period, the turnover decreased by 0.2 per cent from the corresponding period of the year before.
The seasonally adjusted turnover grew for large enterprises by 0.5 per cent in June from May.
In May, the turnover, however, decreased by 0.1 per cent, while in April, it was 0.6 per cent greater than in the month before, the data show.

The turnover estimate of large enterprises is based on a sample formed of 2,000 enterprises with the most significant turnover in manufacturing, construction, trade and other service industries.
Excluded from the statistics are enterprises engaged in primary production, and bank and insurance activities.
The enterprises described in the statistics make up nearly 70 per cent of the turnover of all enterprises operating in Finland, represent more than half of the investments made and employ 40 per cent of the personnel of all enterprises, according to the statistics.
