The turnover of construction of buildings grew by 1.7 per cent, turnover of specialised construction activities by 1.6 per cent, and turnover of civil engineering by 1.2 per cent, according to Statistics Finland.
One year previously, turnover in the whole industry went down by 0.4 per cent in the corresponding period, the data show.
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 1.1 per cent in May to July from one year before.
The sales volume of building construction increased by 1.3 per cent and that of specialised construction activities by 1.2 per cent.
The sales volume of civil engineering remained on level with the previous year, according to the statistics.
