The European Union’s latest economic forecast on the Eurozone released on Tuesday cited development of Finnish economy as still weak.
The premier said the country has had six lean years, and getting back the country’s economy to rise again will still last for a few years irrespective of who is in government.
Short-term additional measures should be deliberated as well, so that the measures already decided upon can be implemented, said Stubb.
In addition, there is a need for long-term solutions which will not do the trick for just a few weeks or months, said the premier.
Stubb said the long-term solutions are geared towards constructing strategies aimed at salvaging the Finnish welfare society.
