Speaking at a party council meeting in Kotka, Rinne, also the Finance Minister said the welfare of salaried employees must be improved.
Rinne said that if SDP is in the next government, the practice of zero-hour contract would be disbanded, underpayment would be addressed and temporary work would operate under clear rules.
Defending government achievements, the Finance Minister in his speech, however, said labour market organisations should be thanked first and foremost for industrial and pension solutions.
Rinne added that it is very important for a deal to be reached on the social and health care reforms.
Rinne also cited investment as key in creating growth and said that it is important to clear ideological barriers in order to attract investment.
