The Ministry of Employment and the Economy intends to harmonise online job applications this year, reported Finnish language daily Turun Sanomat.

According to the Ministry, the reason for harmonising is due to numerous complaints about incomplete notifications which miss details such as salary information, job description and location of work place.

Employers should in the future fill up forms in a way that it cannot be forwarded without filling all the required fields.

According to authorities, employers should clarify the title of the job, job description, special skills required, qualification, working hours, location of work place and salary.

The notifications must not be expressive of certain issues such as religion, race, age, nationality or gender.

More than half a million new job announcements are relayed through the employment offices every year.
