The value of Finnish exports of goods decreased by six percent in November, said a release from the Finnish Customs.
 
The total value of exports was under 4.5 billion euros.
 
Export prices declined by 0.8 percent, whereas export volume decreased by 4.8 percent.
 
In January-November exports declined by one percent compared to the previous year.
 
The value of imports decreased by one percent in November and stood at 4.6 billion euros.
 
The value of imports was affected by the decrease of import prices by 3.6 percent.
 
During the same period, the volume rose by four percent. In January-November the total import value also declined by one percent compared to the previous year.
 
The balance of trade showed a deficit of 121 million euros in November. In January-November the balance of trade had a deficit of almost 1.7 billion euros.
 
In November 2013 the trade surplus was 121 million euros, but in January-November 2013 the trade balance showed a deficit of over 1.8 billion euros, said the release.
