SOK has pulled out Rainbow’s Smoothie Hedelmä (pineapple, mango and papaya), a mixed fruit cocktail from its shelves.

The 600 gram fruit cocktail was removed from sale because it was found to contain genetically modified papaya not allowed in the European Union.

SOK advised consumers to dispose the product and return the empty package primarily to the place where the product was purchased from.

There are other Rainbow Hedelmä Smoothie products too, but pull out only concerns the pineapple, mango and papaya cocktail.

The product is manufactured by the Polish company Ardofreeze S.A.
