In the corresponding period one year earlier, the turnover decreased by 1.7 per cent.
Turnover grew in all construction industries with the biggest growth in civil engineering, 9.4 per cent. The turnover of building construction went up by 7.5 per cent and that of specialised construction activities by 5.2 per cent.
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 11.8 per cent in civil engineering. In building construction, the sales volume grew by 6.7 per cent and in specialised construction by 4.4 per cent, the data show.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
