Name plaques of Titan Grandenje’s business conglomerate on the front door of Croatian company Migrit Energia’s headquarters disappeared between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon, reported the Finnish language Helsingin Sanomat.

The company’s head office is in Zagreb.

According to the Helsingin Sanomat, people occupying senior management positions at Migrit Energia have close connections with Titan Grandenje conglomerate.

According to Croatian media, the owner of Titan is a Russian oligarch, Mihail Shiskanov, or the company has at least close relations with Inteko, a construction company owned by Shiskanov.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Employment and the Economy on Thursday requested for more information on the fulfilment of the factual ownership condition in the company, said an official press release.

The ministry will spend the necessary amount of time reviewing the company’s ownership, as long as a thorough investigation requires. It has been estimated to take a few weeks.

The ministry and the government will take further steps in the process of reviewing the Fennovoima licence application in compliance with the rule of law.

This is necessary in terms of the overall good of the society and the legal protection of the applicant, the press release added.
