The service maintenance break was estimated to end at midday, but Nordea announced the completion of the service maintenance work as early as 10am in the morning and that all the services were back to normal operation.
Nordea bank cards worked normally and could be used to make payments and withdraw cash from ATMs.
The bank gave updates to its customers on its website as well as social media sites Facebook and Twitter.
