In some outlets, a few dozen employees walked out from their work places while in some none of the employees participated in the walkout.
Karoliina Partanen, the communications director at Kesko had revealed earlier on Friday that none of Kesko's outlet had completely shut its doors.
Partanen revealed that in some locations, the counters were closed but the shops remained open. The customers had responded well and showed sympathy, according to Partanen.
Preliminary information said about 1,000 employees across the country took part in the walkout.
