Random call disturbances encountered on Sonera's GSM network have been corrected. According to Sonera, approximately six percent of the calls made on Sonera and TeleFinland networks this morning experienced some disruptions. Emergency calls were also affected.
Sonera's 3G and 4G networks were working fine throughout the disruptions.
According to Finnish language daily Turun Sanomat, the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority requires further clarification from Sonera regarding the problems encountered on the mobile network.
The Authority wants the company to explain some ambiguities in its report, the newspaper said.
The additional request for clarifications relate to, among other things, the causes of the interference and the functional status of Sonera hardware.
