Keva in a statement said a crisis of confidence between the board and the CEO was the reason behind the resignation.
“Unfortunately, Jukka Männistö’s term is very short. I would like to thank Männistö for his cooperation with the board and for his role in implementing changes in the management of Keva,” said the chair of the board, Anna-Kaisa Ikonen in a release.
Männistö was at the helm of Keva for just over a year. Männistö’s predecessor Merja Ailus resigned in the aftermath of a fuss related to increased benefits she had enjoyed during her tenure.
According to Keva, the board will immediately launch the process to appoint a new CEO who is likely to take up the post in spring of 2016.
