BusinessOulu on October 10 opened Finnish Business Hub at Gällivare in northern Sweden, the heart of BusinessOulu’s Nordic cooperation.
The hub is aimed at serving companies by building business connections between Finland and northern Sweden, especially in the areas of mining industry, house building and ICT.
Jarmo Viinanen, the Finnish ambassador to Sweden formally opened the Business Hub at a ceremony held at the local Quality Hotel & Resort Lapland.
During the opening event, BusinessOulu set up a “Finland Showroom” fairground at the event venue where Finnish companies were present to introduce themselves and their business operations.
It helped visitors explore Finnish know-how, find new contacts to enrich their business operations, and network with Finnish companies.
