The inspection company A-Katsastus on Wednesday confirmed the results of its codetermination negotiations.

At the end of the negotiations, 74 employees are to be directly terminated, and various pension arrangements have been made for 15 more. A total of 89 employees are leaving the company.

Some 970 employees took part in the negotiations, and the final actions of the codetermination negotiations focused on 150 employees. Some employees were moved to part-time, and other changes were made to employee responsibilities and contracts.

The A-Katsastus negotiations were completed at the end of September. At that time, the employees' side announced the layoffs of nearly a hundred.

According to the company, registrations services will be centralized by the year end for 110 stations, among other changes. The number of inspection service stations is not going to be affected.
