The value of the sold output of industry (branches B and C) was around EUR 81.3 billion in 2014, marking a fall by 1.1 per cent from the previous year, according to Statistics Finland's data on industrial output.  
 
The metal industry had a share of 39.0 per cent in total value of sold output, the chemical industry 24.2 per cent, the forest industry 18.6 per cent, and the food industry 10.9 per cent, the statistics show.
 
The data in the statistics on industrial output for 2014 were updated in the StatFin data service on 2 December 2015. The data for 2013 were also updated at the same time.
 
The statistics contain data on the value and volume of sold domestic output by commodity heading as well as data on the volume of total domestic output.
 
The data are collected annually from enterprises or establishments in the industries of Mining and Quarrying B and Manufacturing C.
