Transport Workers’ Union AKT leading figures are ready for political strike as early as next spring, if the government does not withdraw the coercive legislative measures from the parlia-ment, found a survey by local news consortium Lännen Media.

According to the survey, four out of five of the 75 AKT influential figures and activists inter-viewed were in favour of the strike.

All of the interviewed members of the union's board were also in favour of the strike if the gov-ernment force the coercive legislative measures.

Only one of the respondents was of the opinion that the coercive legislative measures will be im-plemented.
