Among the sectors of trade, motor vehicle trade grew most, by 10.6 per cent from one year back. Sales in retail trade increased by 1.2 per cent in November, the data show. Among industries belonging to retail trade, department store trade developed more positively than daily consumer goods trade. Sales in department stores went up by 1.8 per cent from one year back, while sales of daily consumer goods went down by 0.1 per cent as per the statistics. Sales in wholesale trade fell, in turn, by 2.3 per cent from twelve months earlier. The volume of total sales grew by 2.6 per cent from November 2014. In November, the sales volume in wholesale trade grew by 0.7 per cent and in retail trade by 2.7 per cent from one year back. Among the sectors of trade, the sales volume of motor vehicle trade went up most, by 10.1 per cent year-on-year. The data indicate that the number of first registrations of motor vehicles was also 21.3 per cent higher in November 2015 than in November 2014. In retail trade, sales decreased by 1.1 per cent from January to November 2014. In wholesale trade, the decline in the corresponding period was 5.0 per cent year-on-year. Motor vehicle trade was the only sector of trade where sales increased in January to November, by 1.4 per cent from one year ago.
