The revelation was made in a secret report which inspected the company’s activities from 2012 to 2014.

The audit which was authorised by the mayor of Vantaa Kari Nenonen inspected a number of companies.

The company also used about euro 10,000 during the then CEO of the company Erkki Salo's 60th birth anniversary celebrations.

The report also disclosed that Salo undertook a decision to increase his own salary, said the newspaper.

According to Vantaan Sanomat, Salo and the deputy chair of city council of Vantaa Heikki Heinimäki acted incompetently by cancelling a supply contract which incurred the company a loss of euro 55,000.

The City of Vantaa submitted a request for investigation to the police regarding the company's CEO.
