Dairy products manufacturer Valio has removed a batch of Oltermanni cheese slices and smaller 250g packages of cheese from sale.
The dairy manufacturer at the same time pulled Valio Hyvä Suomalainen Arki grated cheese from commercial kitchens.
The recall comes after a hardware failure occurred on the production line at the manufacturing stage, which may have resulted in plastic being mixed with the cheese.
More detailed batch data can be found on the Valio website. Valio has informed wholesale and retail stores, which have pulled the products from sale.
Valio said that the products should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
