Nokia has been found to have used cheap labour and discriminate in wages in Finland, according to the national broadcaster Yle.

The Southern Finland Regional Administrative Agency has sent the company a notice regarding the wage discrimination.

According to Yle, employees of Nokia’s foreign subsidiaries working in Finland received monthly wages to the tune of 750 euros at their lowest in 2014-2015. They were Indian, Chinese and Polish employees working in product development design positions.

Nokia admitted to Yle of receiving the notice, but denied to have acted wrong intentionally.
