The bakery Salonen has recalled its rye bread, because it may contain sand, said food safety authority Evira.
According to the bakery, sand may have gotten into the bread through the use of the incorrect flour.
The rye bread is on sale in Southwest Finland, Uusimaa, Kanta-Häme, and Kymenlaakso.
The recall affects 330g packages of rye bread, 6-piece 370g rye bread, and 8-piece 300g rye bread. All the bread has a "best by" date between July 28 and July 31.
The bakery asks customers who have purchased the recalled product to contact customer support for compensation.
