Telecommunications operator Sonera has been experiencing network disruptions across the country from Tuesday, said the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA).
Business phone connections, among other things, suffered from problems throughout Tuesday.
In a message to the Finnish news agency STT, Sonera said the internal speed-dial numbers, for example, of some companies were not operating normally.
Also, some corporate telephone exchanges had suffered problems.
The faults have occurred in varying degrees to different customers.
Earlier in the day, Sonera’s own website did not work, but the problem was resolved later.
Also, location services are back into operation.
Sonera has been working on the problems, but the company is not yet able to assess when the situation would be restored to normal.
Standard text messaging, as well as private voice and data, were operating normally.
