In the industry of the manufacture of paper and paper board products, the orders increased by 9.4 per cent, in the textile industry by 7.0 per cent and in the chemical industry by 0.4 per cent year-on-year.

In the metal industry, the orders declined by 19.6 per cent from one year ago as per the data.

The fall in orders in the metal industry is largely explained by the exceptionally high value of new orders in the corresponding time period of the previous year, generated by, for example, an order in the shipbuilding industry.
