Turnover in service industries grew by 3.4 per cent in May to July from the corresponding period of the year before.
One year previously, the turnover in service industries increased by 3.2 per cent over the same period, Statistics Finland’s data show.
Apart from transportation and storage activities (-0.6%), all other main industries continued to grow.
Administrative and support service activities (+8.6%) that had topped the list were overtaken by professional, scientific and technical activities with an 8.8 per cent growth.
