SAK said it has received a number of contracts which they have been asked to translate from Finnish to English.
According to SAK lawyer Anna-Liisa Häkkinen, English contracts would reduce misunderstandings between the employees and the employers.
In addition, foreigners have contacted SAK with questions regarding, for example, salary, working hours or termination.
“Immigrants have very similar labour market problems as Finns do, but they are difficult to handle due to language difficulties,” Häkkinen said in a press release.
