The government has proposed allotting 38 million euros in the third supplementary budget for the immigrants.

The proposal will be placed before parliament on Thursday.

The government also has proposed appropriations in the agriculture sector.

The supplementary budget will increase the need for government borrowing by 317 million euros, because it would reduce state revenue by 210 million euros and increase spending by 106 million.

The net borrowing calculated for this year is 5.96 billion euros.

An additional 35 million euros was agreed on in the budget session for safeguarding the country’s agricultural industry. The aim is to improve the liquidity and profitability of farms.
