Swedish Peoples’ Party in Finland (Ruotsalainen kansanpuolue) President Carl Haglund on Saturday expressed his interest to continue as the party chief for another term.
Haglund, also the incumbent defence minister, said he would table his intention at the party council scheduled to be held at Porvo next month.
The council will elect the party president for the next term.
Haglund has been serving as the president of the Swedish Peoples’ Party in Finland since June last year, when he replaced Stedan Wallin.
