Vantaa district court on Monday started legal proceeding against the suspected man who was arrested on charge of killing a 59-year old man Koivukylä in Vantaa last week.
Police said that the 30-year-old suspect had previous criminal records and he was arrested following information gathered from eyewitness.
The man was attacked by the miscreants with knife and killed in the street at Koivukylä  on June 4.
The incident took place near Karsikkokujas sand field and passer-by recovered the body of the victim, who had been living in Helsinki.
The victim and the suspect were known to each other from their job. The suspect was caught in a private apartment in Espoo on Friday.
