Thu, 27 Jun, 2013 04:36:02 AM FTimes-STT Report, June 27 The Customs authority on Wednesday seized a consignment of more than 200 starting pistols that were imported to Finland illegally, customs and police sources said. The importer brought the pistols without permission, although procuring prior permission for import, trade and possession of such firearms is essential, sources said. Police said that the board these guns can easily be changed to shooting or gas guns. Customs officials said that the importer has no permission for importing the starting pistols and they are suspected of shooting gun crime. Two cases –one against the company and another against the person involved in the import process were lodged in connections with the incident, The leader of the investigation team, Jouni Hirvonen said, there are various models of the guns in the consignment. The suspect, however, denied the charge crime and claimed that there was no necessity for procuring prior permission to import that models of pistols. More News
