A welding worker died on Monday after falling from a rack of a building in Vantaa. The deceased was 50 years old.
Police said that the accident took place when the worker was working at the WtE plant site in the morning.
While welding a boiler the worker slipped and fell on a level a few rack down from a height of about 10 meters and died on the spot.
The project chief Kalle Patometri said that the reason behind the accident could not be known as there was no witness at that time. The man was found dead.
Police is conducting investigation in this regard.
