A young man was killed in a road accident at Kuusaa area in Laukaa on Saturday afternoon.
Police said that the accident took place at about 4:00 pm when the youth was traveling from Vilppulantie to a Kuusaa by a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was fatally wounded when his motorcycle collided with the railing of an under construction bridge after hitting another person.
The motorcyclist died on the spot. The person hit by the motorcycle also was injured in the accident.
Police said that plying of vehicles on the under construction bridge was restricted.
